Gitesh Gupta, a young, enthusiastic fitness and lifestyle influencer from Delhi, shares few top-hole dietary routines to aggrandize one’s health.Gitesh says, “The concept of a balanced diet chart has existed long before dieticians and nutritionists commenced expounding its virtues. There are 4 key essential nutrients that make up a balanced diet. Fruits and vegetables are required to be consumed in vast quantities every day. Proteins, good fats and fiber-rich carbohydrates make up the remaining three components to a beneficiary diet.” He further adds the following tips to follow –

– Include a colorful assortment of veggies and fruits in your meal, so that each day you get an adequate supply of minerals, potassium, vitamins, and antioxidants, without compromising on quality and quantity.
– Go for whole grains such as oatmeal, buckwheat, quinoa, rye and barley, which are important sources of vitamin B and complex carbohydrates that keep your energy levels going.

– The healthiest fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. They reduce heart diseases, decrease stomach inflammation, minimize blood cholesterol and even reduce the chances of cancers. Henceforth, consume olive oil, avocados, and nuts such as cashews, almonds, peanuts, pistachios, olives and seeds such as pumpkin and sunflower seeds.

– If you’re a non-vegetarian, then lean meats, poultry, and fish are great sources of protein. If you’re a vegetarian, then opt for milk and milk products to have your nutritional quotient enriched with plenty of proteins. These are the body-building foods.

– Most importantly, do not forget to drink plenty of water daily. Reduce your salt and sugar intake and have your meals within a fixed time period on regular basis to see the effective impact on your health.

Last but not the least; Gitesh adds that avoiding junk or street side food is must to maintain a very good health. Also, one must avoid replacing meals with snack foods.
