“The cellular clinic has aided improve access to wellbeing care for numerous CCSD students,” mentioned Amy Roark, Clarke County School District’s director of nursing. “We are energized to launch this existing partnership to a new stage of providing dependable, day-to-day entry to health and fitness and wellness solutions.”

Faculty-dependent wellness centers are an progressive way to allow for well being treatment obtain to students, family members and staff members. Patients at the facilities can acquire a selection of wellness care providers, from key care to behavioral wellness, though remaining on college house.

With a productive middle currently founded at Hilsman Center Faculty and staffed by the Athens Neighborhood Wellbeing Center, the faculty district turned its focus to the west facet of Athens.

The initiatives paid off. In November 2021, the workforce was awarded above $94,000 to deal with a 9-month pilot period of time for the middle at Clarke Center.
